Eloralintide clinical trials: every registered study

Eloralintide (LY3841136) is an investigational amylin analogue from Eli Lilly and Company. It is not approved for any use. This page lists every eloralintide study on ClinicalTrials.gov, grouped by phase, with the status each registry record showed on 9 October 2026.

Read with care: a registry record describes a study’s plan and status. It is not a result, and it does not show that the drug works or is safe. This page is information only. It does not recruit participants and it is not medical advice. Whether anyone can join a study is decided by the sponsor and the study site, so use the official links below.

Studies at a glance

There are 22 registered studies that list eloralintide: 5 Phase 3, 5 Phase 2, 6 Phase 1 safety and combination studies, and 6 Phase 1 studies of how the body handles the compound. Twelve were recruiting on the check date, 2 were active but no longer recruiting, 1 had not yet started, and 7 were completed.

Enrollment figures for studies that have not finished are planned numbers. Dates are the registry’s own. Each registry number links to our plain-language record of that study, which links on to ClinicalTrials.gov.

How to check a study yourself

Search the registry for the NCT number at ClinicalTrials.gov. Each record shows the sponsor, status, eligibility rules, locations and a contact for the study team. Lilly also runs a trial finder for its own studies. Eligibility rules differ for each study and are set out in the record, and enrollment decisions are made by the study site.

Things to keep in mind when reading these records

Some studies run under one umbrella protocol (NCT06143956), so adding up enrollment across records double counts. A registry status of recruiting means the study as a whole is open, and individual sites can be paused or full. Completed Phase 1 studies often still show no posted results, which is normal and not a signal either way. The macupatide studies test a different Lilly compound together with eloralintide, and are covered on our macupatide page.
