Macupatide and eloralintide: what the registered trials show

Macupatide (LY3532226) is a Lilly investigational compound named in several registered studies alongside eloralintide. Those studies are still running, and none has posted results. This page lists what the registry says about them and nothing more.

We do not describe macupatide’s mechanism here, because we have not confirmed it from a primary source. Eloralintide is an investigational amylin receptor agonist; its mechanism is covered on our mechanism pages.

What this does and does not show

A registry record shows that a study exists and how it is designed. It does not show that the combination works, that it is safe, or that it will be approved. No efficacy or safety results have been posted for these studies, so any figure you see attributed to a macupatide and eloralintide combination should be traced to a primary source before you rely on it.

Not the same as EloraTZP

EloraTZP is eloralintide combined with tirzepatide, not with macupatide. Lilly announced topline Phase 2 results for that combination on 2026-09-30 (study NCT06603571). Those figures are sponsor-reported, were not peer reviewed at the time, and come from a type 2 diabetes population. See our eloralintide and tirzepatide comparison and the reported side effects page.
