Background and context
What the record describes
ENLIGHTEN-2 compares once-weekly eloralintide with placebo, double-blind, in adults with obesity or overweight who also have type 2 diabetes. The primary endpoint is percent change in body weight from baseline to week 64.
Who can take part
Adults need type 2 diabetes on stable treatment for at least 90 days, and a BMI of at least 27. The record excludes recent use of amylin analogs, GLP-1 receptor agonists, GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonists or insulin in the 90 days before screening. Participation lasts about 75 weeks.
Glucose is a secondary measure
No results are posted. HbA1c is listed as a secondary measure only, and the record names no separate primary glucose endpoint.
