Background and context
What the six cohorts do
This open-label Phase 1 study gives single and weekly subcutaneous doses of eloralintide, and of eloralintide with tirzepatide, to adults with overweight or obesity. Its title names relative bioavailability alongside safety and tolerability. The primary endpoints cover drug exposure (AUC and peak concentration) in each cohort pair and the number of participants with treatment-related adverse events.
Who can take part
Adults aged 18 to 65 need a BMI from 27 to 40 and a stable body weight. People with diabetes or an HbA1c of 6.5% or more, a gastrointestinal condition that affects gastric emptying, or recent weight-loss medication are excluded. Sites are in California, Florida and Texas.
What the record leaves out
The study is marked completed, with primary completion on 19 January 2026, and no results are posted. Every registered endpoint is a drug-level or safety measure, so the record lists no body weight outcome at all.
